Happy Monday!
I had such a busy and fullfilling weekend. I’m so happy to have met and chatted with many of you at Book By The Arch. It reminded me of all the reasons I write and gave me a dose of motivation. I met so many authors and got to do my favorite thing, talk about books all day!
At one point Josh said, “You are definitely with your people.” and I was! I found people that have the same hobbies as me, Shelly Ferguson(https://www.instagram.com/shellyfergusonauthor/?hl=en) crochets book and kindle holders for everyone who purchases a book.
I will soon be looking up a tutorial for that because they’re so cool. There was a vendor selling small binders that can be used to track your reading or cash stuffing which is a current hyper-fixation of mine. You can find me on a weekend night crocheting and watching people on youtube put cash in envelopes, I know it’s weird but it soothes me.
I also met some local authors like S.E. Emory and S.L. Rowland. It was so hard for me not to spend all the money I made at the event.
I’m still recovering today but I am jazzed to finish the current project I’m working on. I’m not completely ready to share yet but I can say its very different from anything else I’ve written…maybe even a different genre. *hint* *hint*
Alright I should get back to writing, but I want to know, besides romance what is another genre you read?
